New ECO House – Snowdonia National Park
BR Architecture was instructed by our Client to Design a replacement ECO House in the heart of The Snowdonia National Park. The site is located in beautiful valley filled with trees on the banks of the river. The New ECO House will be constructed from either Timber Frame Twin Skin Construction or a Passive House System. Green Features will include:- Very High Thermal Insulation, Low Heating Requirements, Large South Facing Windows for Solar Gain to Heat Passive House, Central Ventilation System with Heat Recovery with Constant Air Changes, Recycle Warm Air via. Heat Exchanger into Fresh Air and High Power Solar Collectors on Roof to Heat Domestic Hot Water. Externally using a Rainwater Harvest System.
