The client purchased their dream plot of land on Llys Helig Drive in Llandudno, North Wales. They contacted BR Architecture to design a luxury new build replacement dwelling, which included demolition of the existing house on the land.
The client wanted a mix of modern and traditional design features, consisting of Welsh slate roof and traditional gable style to the front.
The rear consists of large glazed areas to maximise the stunning sea views. The design also includes a subterranean indoor swimming pool and gym on the lower ground floor level, with an internal lift to all other floors. The middle level has been converted into a large open plan kitchen/dining/family room which opens out onto a large-scale terrace area overlooking the rear garden. The clients master bedroom has been refurbished, featuring a huge on-suite and dressing room and they wanted a feature bath at the rear looking out onto the sea views.
The entrance hall and lobby was designed as a circular bay window to house a stunning open tread curved staircase as a main feature in the hall, with room for the clients grand piano.
