This was a fun project to work on as we converted a chapel within the town walls of Conwy, North Wales. The chapel was a Grade II listed building and we designed the conversion from a chapel to a boutique hotel with a cool glazed link to the conversion of the adjoining barn/outbuilding. We also added a large glazed atrium design feature to the main chapel roof to floor the building full of natural light. The client is very happy with the design and has proved to be a success as an additional accommodation to the Erskine hotel, which we also converted a few years earlier.
